Family Tradition...

Most of you know that Dave graduated from Cal Poly Pomona.

We love that school and it will always hold special memories for us.

Not only is it number one in the nation for engineering but it is also an agricultural school.

The girls and I spent many a day there feeding the ducks and visiting baby pigs, baby lambs and colts.

We also never missed the pumpkin patch that was open to the public for 2 days every October.

We would load up the kids and the wagon and go into the patch and pick our pumpkins for that year.

The kids loved it and it was a great picture opportunity.

Well it has been a few years since we have been and we decided over the weekend we would introduce the boys to this wonderful memory.

Here are some pics I took with my phone...

Well as you can see Sam is only in the group shot...what can I say she is a teenager and went off on a quest for the perfect pumpkin.

Maybe she will let me take her pic carving it.

I highly recommend this pumpkin patch, it is so much bigger now and includes a farmers market, bug fair, and craft fair.

It was a yummy, dirty, fun family day!!!

The traffic coming home now that's another story...

Good Day...

Who would have thought that one of these would elevate me to "Best Mom in the World" status today.
