Friday...

Today it was hard to find something to be grateful for...

* Today is Friday...no homework tonight!!

* I didn't have to drive carpool.

* Taco Bell = Easy dinner.

* Alaska Reality shows on TV tonight.

* Full Moon tonight...great for trying out our telescope.


Today was hard for me, kind of a blah day.

Thursday...

Today I am grateful for...

* My Mother. She has always been there for me with words of support and love. Even in my worst times she has been my light at the end of the tunnel, the hand that lifts me up, the words of hope that I need to hear. I hope that I can be that for her now as we embark on this new journey. I love you mom.

* My Dad. He is the rock of our family. He is the voice of reason when I need it and my biggest fan in whatever I do. His unwavering faith is awe inspiring. His example of service in the church has been an influence in my life. I hope that he knows his children love him and are here to support him during this journey. I love you dad.

Wednesday...

I am grateful today for...

* My husband...we had a great relaxing weekend at the beach and he really did relax.

* My dear friend Hope...She took care of Charlie while we were gone and went above and beyond. I came home to a spotless clean house...Thank you!!!!

* Wonderful sister in-laws who took my kids for me and made sure they had a good time...and they did.

* Swim and Color Guard...They are keeping my daughters occupied so that they don't dwell on their dads concerns right now.

* Ben, he makes me laugh. He comes up with these one liners that crack me up. We call them Benisms. His latest...
"Mom whats that smell...(sniffs the air) it really stinks...(sniffs) mom what smells bad?" I say "I don't smell anything." 5 minutes later he says..."Oh yeah I farted"...he then laugh's for about 5 minutes hysterically.

Thursday...

I am grateful today for...

* 4 Nerf Guns and 75 Nerf Darts...We had quite the war this afternoon :)

* Dave brought leftovers home from lunch...we all tried Persian food...not very appealing to the eye but kinda good.

* We leave for our getaway tomorrow!!!

* Yertle the Turtle. Even my 16 year old listened to the bedtime story tonight.

* The weather is supposed to be in the 80's this weekend...we are staying about 2 miles from the beach. Maybe my white legs won't look so white on Monday.

Wednesday...

Today I am grateful for...

* Music, that is my escape these days. I love the new song by Katy Perry "Firework" and "Rhythm of Love" by Plain White T's. They are both on my playlist below.

* The warmer weather today...I opened up my windows and enjoyed the sunshine.

* Naps...Ben and I both needed one badly today.

* Getaways...I booked the room today and Dave and I are getting away this weekend, I can't wait!

* Smart Doctors who explain things in layman terms so we understand and are prepared.
